The Savage Wonder Festival is produced by Veterans Repertory Theater, a professional theater and event nonprofit founded to reinvigorate American theater through the works of veteran artists.
The 2024 Savage Wonder Festival marks the second of it’s kind, and the very first festival VetRep will unveil at our permanent home in Beacon, NY. Join us this October and soak in the installations and immersive performances in the industrial, transitional, and unrepeatable environment of our home-in-progress while we pause renovations and bring this festival to life on Beacon’s Main St.
Each performer at the Savage Wonder Festival is more than just an accomplished professional artist, each is also a veteran or an immediate family member. Their backstories – the tragedy, the struggle, the perseverance, and the triumph – lends each one’s art a powerful depth. The gallery and instillations will feature VetRep Board member and artist, Angelo T. Robinson, Ceramic artist Delvin Goode, multimedia artist Kat Furrow, along with writer and painter, Lani Hankins.
Each night of the Savage Wonder Festival will feature immersive, multi-media performances combining elements of light, sound, dance, and striking visuals in the open, currently untamed main stage.
